A softer kind of nightlife in Sanur
Since January 2026, Bloom After Dark (BAD) has been quietly introducing a new rhythm to Sanur nights. In collaboration with Westside MuzeeQ, BloomWerk transforms after sunset into an intimate vinyl-listening mocktail bar for music lovers and mindful drinkers alike.
Westside Vinyl DeeJays spin a curated mix of soul, funk, jazz, R&B, 60s–90s classics, and modern house grooves, while sober cocktails, nostalgic bites, and cozy listening corners invite guests to slow down and truly tune in.
BAD x Sober Bar takes place every Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM –12:00 Midnight.

How it all started
Bloom After Dark was born during the recent Sanur pavement transition along our street. With traffic slowing and the neighborhood shifting, we saw an opportunity to reimagine the space.
Together with Westside MuzeeQ, what was once purely BloomWerk by day evolved into a small vinyl-listening bar by night — a relaxed place to gather around good music and thoughtful drinks.
Since its soft beginnings in early 2026, BAD has grown into Sanur’s newest weekend night-time vibe, with an official Grand Opening planned for April.

A glimpse of Westside MuzeeQ
@westside.muzeeq (DJ & Event Producer)
At the heart of Bali’s analogue music scene is Westside MuzeeQ — a quiet yet enduring force shaping the island’s vinyl culture since the early 2000s. As the creator of the Bali Vinyl Movement in 2001, Westside has been instrumental in keeping the warmth of analogue sound alive, long before it found its way back into the spotlight.

From this foundation grew Westside MuzeeQ Record Store — a tucked-away haven for collectors and curious listeners alike, where vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and rare memorabilia live side by side. Alongside it, Westside Vinyl Deejays carry the sound forward, spinning soulful selections from the ’70s to early 2000s, each set guided by feel, memory, and rhythm.

Together, they form a living ecosystem — where music is not just played, but experienced. Analog, intentional, and timeless — just as it was meant to be.
